Lead Pastors

Lead Pastors

Rob Haslett began serving on our staff in 2016 as Discipleship Pastor and, in 2019, was honored to be appointed as the Lead Pastor of First Assembly. His wife, Rhonda Haslett, brings her passion and experience to the role of Discover Pastor.

Together, Rob and Rhonda have faithfully served in ministry for over 25 years, with a rich background in youth and children’s ministries. Their journey has been marked by dedication, compassion, and a deep love for people. They are the proud parents of five children—Julia, Ellie, Maxx, Sophia, and Will—and are joyfully embracing a new season of life as grandparents to three beloved grandchildren.

Rich History

Rich History

In the early 1930s, two vibrant groups of Pentecostal believers, each gathering in homes, united to establish the First Pentecostal Tabernacle on South Calhoun Street. In 1940, the church officially affiliated with the Assemblies of God, marking a key milestone in its journey.

Now, nearly a century later, First Assembly of God remains a thriving church at its current location, continuing to serve and impact the Fort Wayne community.

We are grateful for the extraordinary legacy of faith and leadership that has been passed down through generations, and we joyfully celebrate all that God has done and continues to do through our church family.
