Our Lead Pastors
Rob Haslett joined our staff in 2016 as our Discipleship Pastor. In 2019, he was voted in as First Assembly’s Lead Pastor. His wife, Rhonda, currently leads as our Discover Pastor.
They’ve both been in ministry for over 25 years, spending many of those years as youth and children’s pastors respectively. They also have five children; Julia, Ellie, Maxx, Sophia, Will and three grandchildren.
Our Rich History
In the early 1930’s, two groups of Pentecostal believers running house churches came together to found First Pentecostal Tabernacle on South Calhoun Street and in 1940 became an Assemblies of God affiliated church.
Four locations and 95 years later, First Assembly of God is still a thriving Pentecostal church making an impact on the city of Fort Wayne.
We are so blessed to have an incredible legacy of faith and leadership that has passed down through generations at our church.
