Our Rich History
In the early 1930s, two vibrant groups of Pentecostal believers, each gathering in homes, united to establish the First Pentecostal Tabernacle on South Calhoun Street. In 1940, the church officially affiliated with the Assemblies of God, marking a key milestone in its journey.
Now, nearly a century later, First Assembly of God remains a thriving church at its current location, continuing to serve and impact the Fort Wayne community.
We are deeply grateful for the extraordinary legacy of faith and leadership that has been passed down through generations, and we joyfully celebrate all that God has done and continues to do through our church family.
