Groups

Connect to community.

Fall Semester | September 4 – November 26

God created us to live in community.

Groups have a simple purpose – to bring people together. Connecting to and caring for fellow believers is a key component to a spiritually fulfilled life. Groups exist to make life-changing relationships relevant and accessible to our church family.

Defining Groups

Small Groups

These groups exist specifically to fulfill the “connect” piece of our church vision. Small groups meet off site in the community and sometimes fill due to the capacity of their meeting location. These groups may have a subject or topic to focus on, but their main focus is helping people connect to community.

Large Groups

These groups exist specifically to fulfill the “connect” piece of our church vision. Large groups meet on site at First Assembly and won’t close due to capacity. These groups will have a subject or topic to focus on, but are heavily focused on helping people connect to community.

Classes

Classes are created for you to go deeper in your personal discipleship journey by learning about a specific topic. These classes primarily take place on Sunday mornings or Wednesday nights on site at First Assembly.

Next Steps Classes

Next Steps classes are a core part of our church’s discipleship process. We feel these classes and topics have proven to be a consistent need for our entire church body to further their discipleship journey.

OUR NEXT STEPS CLASSES ARE:

  • New2First (Monthly)
  • Growth Track (Weekly)
  • Fresh Start (6-Week Sessions)
  • Freedom Group (Weekly)
  • Financial Freedom Express (Seasonal)
