April 2024 Update
FAFW Missions Trip Team – India
Jeff Atz – “Everyone who goes on a mission trip sees different things. God is calling us out of our comfort zone into a life of complete surrender to the cross.”
Laurie Atz – “Our team went to numerous homes for men and women. God transformed that place one person at a time.”
Aaron Totten – “Ephesians 2:19. “God’s love stretches out to all people” Being in India felt natural.”
Jessica Worth – “I remembered to trust God, that even though I was afraid, God was working in it and removed all fear.”
Hannah Kern – “I felt scripture come to life in the community and hospitality culture of India. You don’t have to be at a church to experience the presence of God. God is working in that community.”
Bethany Hudson – “ReMade is about taking something old and transforming it into something new. Transformation IS their business and being able to share the gospel with others.”
Matt and Rhea Roloson – Algeria
Psalm 126:5-6 was put on our hearts: “Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy! He who goes out weeping, bearing the seeds for sowing, shall come home with shouts of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.” Which lead to this vision statement; In 2024, we will focus on sowing tears in prayer for Algerians, sowing seeds of Truth and believing for tears of joy celebrating souls and each one of us making one disciple this year.
Prayer Requests
- For disciples to be made in Algeria and for more people who are willing to hear and receive Truth!
- For many opportunities to share the Gospel with friends and neighbors.
- For a casual English hour that the ladies on our team have recently started for friends and young mothers. The ladies meet in our home each week and we are believing God will use these relationships to share love and Truth with them.
- For new teammates as they pack and prepare for a big transition.
Manuel and Tina Prabhudas – France
The French Assemblies of God has a vision to plant 1,000 churches in the next 10 years, to equip 10,000 workers, and to train 1,000 young people for ministry. Many churches are seeing a noticeable increase in the number of people from unchurched backgrounds coming to an evangelical church for the first time. Our goal is a healthy church in every community, and in addition to partnering for church planting, we are coming alongside existing churches with the Acts 2 Journey, a Pentecostal approach to church health.
Prayer Requests
- That over the next few years France will experience a full-blown revival and that God will call hundreds of French people to ministry
- Initiatives that will give wider access to ministry training opportunities.
- Churches participating in the Acts 2 Journey will experience a fresh move of God.
- Church planting in Rennes and for churches being planted in the region.
